Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a protocol which extends DMBS (double movable boundary scheme), which can be de-scribed with a two-dimensional channel resource of code and time. Reservation mini-slots and check mini-slots of the same number are appended in the beginning of each frame. When an idle terminal generates a new voice call or data packet, it sends a reservation mini-packet into a reservation mini-slot to reserve a channel. The performance of the proposed protocol is evaluated by Markov analysis, in terms of voice call blocking probability and the LST of data transmission delay.
