Abstract :
We have measured the dielectric spectroscopy of hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) ceramic which has been widely used for the radome and antenna windows. The Havriliak-Negami empirical equation is adopted to calculate the relaxation time of h-BN material based on the dielectric data. In order to solve the empirical equation, a nonlinear least-squares technique is used and the boundary condition for unknown parameters in the equation is defined. The relaxation time and its distribution parameters are obtained by this calculation method. The calculation results agree with the dielectric theory well.
