Abstract :
This paper demonstrates that a functional-link net can be used effectively for the identification and control of nonlinear dynamical system. The main interest of the paper is on models for both identification and control. The basic concept of a functional-link net and the design of the adaptive controller based on the functional-link net are introduced. The effectiveness of the method proposed in the paper is demonstrated by a simulation example
