Abstract :
In this paper, a novel crack detection sensor based on finite element principle is presented. A measurement system of the sensor has been constructed to validate the design. The results show that the sensor has the advantage of detecting complex crack. This sensor can be used in the crack detection of aircraft and large motor casing similary.
