  • Abstract
This work introduced a facile scheme for nanofluidics-based biosensing. Streptavidin-modified nanoparticles were packed in a tip to form nanoparticle crystal (NPC-IT). Conductance variation of this streptavidin modified NPC-IT caused by the binding induced surface charge density change was measured to trace-back the target biotin-D concentration. The preliminary experimental results indicated a 10nM sensitivity of biotin detection, which demonstrated the applicability of the present NPC-IT scheme in nanofluidics-based biosensing.
