Abstract
To ensure the high quality video, a Fuzzy Membership function of de-interlacing technique is proposed in this thesis. Fuzzy Symmetrical Membership functions and Asymmetrical Membership functions are used combing with conventional de-interlacing methods to select applicable interpolated points. In this research, MATLAB is used to simulate the proposed method, we also compare PSNR values of proposed method as well as other conventional algorithms to evaluate the advantage and disadvantage of these methods.
