            Abstract : 
Network environments of computers as mediators for constructing knowledge of history are examined. History is considered an exercise of thinking, and constructing social awareness on people who study it. The work investigates the correlation between students learning Brazilian history and their engagement in hypermedia authoring in computerized environments.
