Abstract
Presents a model for considering voltage and reactive injection limits within a linearized active DC power flow. An extension of the Benders decomposition algorithm is used to express reactive constraints as a function of the active control variables. The authors describe a new model for the representation of reactive constraints as linear functions of the active power injections. The proposed approach is based on the dual formulation of the complete AC optimal power flow and can be seen as an algorithm to construct the feasible region of the active power injections with respect to the reactive and voltage limits. A case study with a realistic equivalent of the southeastern Brazilian system illustrates the proposed approach
