  • Abstract
For CDMA system, the severe multiuser and multipath interferences are always present. When the demodulation is coherent, a coherent carrier reference must be generated prior to demodulation. The generation of coherent reference at low signal to noise and interference ratio is difficult. This paper provides the minimum mean square error (MMSE) derivation of an adaptive noncoherent DS/CDMA receiver in multipath channel. It is shown that the performance of the noncoherent adaptive receiver with MDPSK signal can approach that of the coherent receiver with MPSK signal. Besides, the simulations show that when the feedback number increases, the performance of the adaptive noncoherent receiver can be improved.
