Abstract :
This paper introduces a CMOS-based linearly tunable transconductor operational transconductance amplifier (OTA). The realization technique is achieved by using a pseudo differential transconductor and a programmable-gain current amplifier working in saturation region, for a power supply of ±0.9V. Its transconductance gain can be linearly tuned by an external bias current for more than three decades and -3 dB bandwidth of 687.5MHz. The CMOS OTA is designed in 0.18μm SMIC technology. The performance of the proposed circuit is discussed and confirmed through Cadence Spectre simulation results.
