A new FBG accelerometer is proposed which elastic element is fourbeams and a ring. The theoretical model is derived on the basis of material mechanics. It shows that the acceleration has the advantage of high sensitivity with wide work frequency band through optimal designing the ring. It has good prospect for application on oil field.
