Abstract :
The mathematical model of temperature field and fluid field in tundish was established through mathematical simulation of computer. The results showed that the two high temperature regions were formed corresponding the two recirculation regions in the tundish; In the normal casting proceeds, the insert position of temperature measurement sensor of tundish was no limitation, the superheat difference was within 2 °C of measurement point and the outlet of liquid steel.
