Abstract :
In this paper, an exact outage probability expression of point to point cooperative network is derived. The technique is then applied to planar lattice network, where nodes are located in regular lattice points. As opposed to idealistic point to point cooperative network, the destination node in lattice network is not known a priori, and any node in the network has equal probability to be the selected destination. Using the derived outage expression, this paper studied the interrelation between traffic pattern (including traffic locality as well as traffic origins) and the achieved system performance.
