Abstract :
Irregular oscillation for a realistic neural network model of ours composed of only three neurons under constant external stimuli was analyzed using a complexity measure developed by Lemple and Ziv (1976). The results showed that such oscillation was nonperiodic, and its complexity could be compared with a time series from a logistic mapping while its parameter was within chaotic areas.
