Abstract :
In the paper, the authors propose a novel algorithm for minimal orthogonal Roesser´s model synthesis for a given 2-D FIR lossless transfer function. The algorithm does not require to determine intermediate non-minimal realizations and hard to implement matrix factorization techniques. The paper contains detailed evaluation of the presented method and is illustrated by an example.
