  • Abstract
    Application of X3D virtual reality technology into remote monitor and control (IMC) system can effectively enhance the expressive force and interaction ability of interface system. Aimed at the exchange of data and command between interface system in X3D and anterior IMC environment, based on standard OPC technology, according to the implement mode of thin client ,a universal frame for remote monitor and control application in X3D is proposed. In this system, standardized interlink between interface system and data source system including database, I/O hardware, etc, can be realized. The system structure and key technologies is discussed, and an application prototype system is given also.
