Abstract :
It is an important new research topic to discuss the problem of ranking based on interval order number. In this paper, an analytic method is proposed to solve the problem for ranking based on preference information of interval order number in decision making. Firstly, some concepts and characters of interval order number are introduced. Then, based on introducing the conceptions of dominance and possibility, a method of ranking in possibility based on preference information of interval order number is given. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the use of the proposed analysis method.
