  • Abstract
Joint multi-view video model (JMVC(6.0)) proposed the fixed view-temporal prediction structure for the standardization multi-view video coding (MVC), which is difficult to cope with various characteristics with a fixed prediction structure. A multi-view coding scheme based on correlation analysis is proposed in this paper, which differs from the conventional MVC schemes with single inter-view prediction structure. Experimental results show that the proposed SMVC scheme can improve coding efficiency and random access. The simulation result shows that this proposed method improve random access by 56 % on average with PSNR increase 0. 13 dB on average.
