Abstract
Implementation of any anonymous routing protocols relies on the cryptographic tools provided at the application layer. This paper takes a joint consideration of these two layers. A novel construction of trapdoor, a key component in most anonymous routing protocols, is presented that outperforms its predecessors in all the aspects of anonymity, security, and efficiency, and illustrates how routing and application layers interact.
