Abstract
Spread Spectrum Time Domain Reflectometry for cable fault detection and location on-line is analyzed and studied deep in this paper. On that basis, the simulation model of cable fault detection and location on-line technology is built, the results of the simulation verify the feasibility of cable fault detection and location on-line. On the basis of that, the regular pattern of effects of the measured cable length, the frequency and amplitude of the injected signal, the impedance of fault point is studied and analyzed deep and simulation verification, the simulation results verify the validity of theoretical analysis.
