Abstract :
Electrochemical behaviors of DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid) are studied for exploring label free PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) detection used in miniaturized PCR system. PCR chips with three electrodes are fabricated with CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) compatible process. Micro electrodes with different metals successfully are obtained inside the micro PCR reaction cell for optimizing the electrochemical process. Both purified DNA solution diluted in PBS buffer and amplified DsRed DNA solution of n (n=0,4,8,12,20) cycles are used as the solution system. The experiment revealed that the redox peaks current difference between DsRed DNA solution of 4 cycles and 12 cycles is 50 nA.
