  • Abstract
    In this paper, the advantages of fuel cell technology based backup power for telecommunications facilities were investigated. And a scalable solution, including electrical system structure and key components selection reasons, was provided. Based on scalable system design, a fuel cell system life and performance optimization method by dynamic output control was proposed. Additionally, a prototype system was tested in the test stand, which shows this solution can well meet the requirements.
