Abstract
Grid-connected inverter usually uses the PID controller to regulate the output current, but One set of PID parameters can hardly achieve satisfactory control performance because the wind speed is transient and the wind turbine is nonlinear. This paper firstly analyzed the shortcomings of PI controller, then a PI controller with self-tuning parameter based on fuzzy inferring was proposed. This controller is capable of automatically adjusting the two parameter of PI controller according to the error E and the change in error EC between on given value and feedback value of controlled variable, and has achieved satisfactory control performance at different wind speed range. Simulation results show the system used this method has quick respond, small overshoot and good robustness, the system is superior to the conventional PI controller.
