Abstract :
Opposed-exciting thermoacoustic refrigerator (TAR) is a new type micro-refrigerator, whose physical dimension can be reduced by the increasing of working frequency. It is very important for such an equipment to control the phase difference between the two opposed drivers, whose phase difference should be adjustable during the operation by means of a phase shifter. The analyses, calculation and checkout on phase shifter can guide the improvement and optimization of an opposed-exciting TAR Three methods of adjusting phase difference for such a phase shifter are analyzed and compared in the paper.
