Abstract :
A method of packet scheduling is proposed wherein the transmitter schedules packets to be sent out based on received power control feedback in a CDMA system. By taking advantage of implicit link quality feedback from the receiver in the form of power control commands, the transmitter may reduce the number of retransmissions necessary for any individual packet by sending it when channel conditions warrant adequate delivery conditions. Simulation results are provided which demonstrate the proposed method´s effectiveness
