Abstract
A content analysis based medical images fusion with fuzzy inference is presented. For well design fuzzy inference rules, the contents of two source images are analyzed with histograms. In the calculation of histograms, section is determined by two source images. Inference rules are designed based on fusion target and histograms of CT image and MRI image. Experiment results comparison from subject and object point of view show that content analysis based medical images fusion with fuzzy inference method is better than ordinary 3 gray-level (dark, medium, bright) fuzzy inference fusion method, the fused image can provide more information.
