  • Abstract
    A new image pattern recognition algorithm based on visual perceptual mechanism and phenomenon of apparent was presented. This algorithm was introduced entirely from biological visual mechanism. PCNN was applied to topological recognition for the first time. BP neural networks combined with apparent movement phenomenon was applied to the expression and recognition of geometrical feature. The experiment shows that the algorithm is of great value in theory and application.
