Abstract
This report is devoted to the questions of usage of the direct frequency converter based on the matrix converter in the control systems of AC electric drive. The algorithm of PWM for matrix converter worked with the neutral main load has been suggested and has been compared with the algorithm of two-section frequency converter on the base of self-commutated voltage inverter.
