Abstract :
Our report examines use of healthcare information technologies. We analysed 97 existing medical information systems in order to investigate their structure, problems in creation of such systems, to define those fields of treatment process, which were not touched or much less touched by automation. The analysis of the existing HISs in Russia has been done. It was conducted on the base of scientific articles, dissertation theses and advertising - information papers.
