Based on embedded techniques, used Widows Mobile SDK, .Net Compact Framework which designed by Microsoft, designed a field geology multimedia data acquisition system running on smart mobile phone, it can be used on acquisition field data during geological prospecting. And the writer designed work flow of field geology Multimedia data acquisition system, combined with designed software system, realized seamless connection and management between geology multimedia data collected by hand-held device and multi geological database. Smart mobile phone integrated all functions of ex-geology new five devices-PDA, GPS, recorder pen, digital camera and digital video.
