Abstract :
The advent and advance of the Voice over Internet Protocol technology (VoIP) have the potential to greatly change the outlook of telecommunication. However, as a relatively new technology, VoIP is still facing various security dilemmas, both technical and social. In this research, major threats and vulnerabilities that exist in VoIP technology will be presented. Also, some of the security controls, policies and sound practices that should be implemented in the enterprise VOIP system will be discussed.
