Abstract :
This work aims at fault management of satellite network. According to the intrinsic characteristics of satellite network, as well as the long delay features and the satellite automatic operative requirements possessed by the satellite-ground communication, this paper gives a distributed hierarchical fault management paradigms based on the clusters management, combining with the concept of clusters in satellite network management. By an analysis on performance indexes for several network management paradigms, this paper represents the theoretical basis for the paradigm adopted by fault management of network, and gives a performance analysis on the fault management mechanism of distributed hierarchical fault paradigms through simulation experiment.
