Abstract :
Edge finding has been a difficult and important task in image processing.The current edge-finding algorithms!e.g. K_L transformation,Sobel grads edge finding,model matching) are vulnerable to noise or need too much computation resource,which are not suitable for real-time application.Recently emerged intelligent adaptive algorithmsιsuch as the Tabu algorithm and genetic algorithm have improved the performance and efficiency. This paper will mainly introduce the application of Tabu algorithm in edge finding.
