Abstract
Supporting rooms of large sports stadiums are generally heated by air-conditioning systems in winter. Aiming that athletes can change clothes and rest, the indoor thermal environment should meet the basic thermal comfort for the athlete´s health and normal competitive level. However, there are many problems when the air-conditioning system heats the supporting rooms in winter. Tests show that the main problems include that the room vertical temperature gradient is large, radiation temperature is low and wind velocity will exceeded easily, and energy efficiency is low. In this paper, we conclude that when the air is supplied from the above of the room, supplying air by the louvres instead of the original diffuser can improve the thermal environment in winter to some extent, which is proved with actural tests.
