Abstract :
With the development of computer technology in particular of SCM (single-chip microcomputer) technology, more and more people have used SCM to detect and control some parameters in the industrial control systems such as temperature, In order to achieve data exchange between PC and SCM people use different methods to achieve communication, just like under the DOS operating system available in assembly language or C language. But to achieve it in the Windows environment, there are many difficulties and shortcomings, and it has been plaguing designers. In the case of the Windows operating system has been dominant, the development of communication technology under the Windows environment has become increasingly important. This article describes the PC-based control center for data acquisition control systems for automating data collection from SCM, it completes the collection data by SCM, using ADC0809 chip to achieve A/D conversion, and then send to the PC through the way of asynchronous serial communication. PC carries out a timing control on SCM, which controls the sending and receiving process, so the timing control and the process of communication can be perfectly combined, thus solving the problem previously mentioned. Through practical operation, it shows that the system has the following advantages: reasonably designed software and hardware, stable performance, high reliability, easy operation and a high application value.
