Abstract
A hybrid algorithm inspired by is given that identifies a parameter for a class of nonlinear systems in finite time. We show that this algorithm contains a compact globally asymptotically stable set that is robust to small perturbations. We further give a persistency of excitation condition that ensures convergence of the parameter estimate.
