Abstract :
To run a smart e-commerce or provide efficient Web service, a Web services composition model is needed. Web services composition refers to the process of collaborating the heterogeneous Web services. In this paper, we use a queueing network model to evaluate the performance of composite Web services. So the Web services can run in an optimal way. The models are necessary constituents of reliable Web service composition. They are flexible enough to evaluate the performance indices of the composite Web services simply by a MVA algorithm rather than doing a lot of exhausting experiments. Research shows that our models provide an effective way for both running the services optimally and estimating the growth needs accurately.
