Abstract
The Egyptian National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) was established in 1984. It is a scientific institute with university status affiliated to the Ministly of Communications and Information Technology. The board of directors of NTI is headed by His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Prof Ahmed Nazif. Among board members are the NTI Director, Telecom Egypt chairman, representatives from the Academy of Scientific Research, universities, The Ministry of High Education, and private sector telecommunication companies.
