Abstract :
The cited research results are an outcome of preliminary marker image processing on anodized zirconium surface. The research demonstrated that the suggested approach to background removal in combination with digital processing algorithms provides for enhancement of the information value of the symbol marker and allows optimal image preparation in terms of time/quality for its further information identification process.
