Abstract
Time difference of arrival technology (TDOA) is a basic technology in network based positioning. How to improve the precision of the localization and avoid the ambiguous and unreasonable problems have been discussed widely. The former works always solved these problems by extract information, but these can´t be effective all the time. In this paper, we proposed a new efficient technique-MBSC (major base station circulating) to do the job by using more than one major base station without any extra measurement. It has been proved by simulations that the new technique not only has the high ability to avoid the ambiguous and unreasonable problems in calculating the objects position, but also can be used to improve the precision of the TDOA localization
