Abstract :
The present article describes the application of pseudolite equipment for validation of satellite-based railway application systems. The introduction of the project GALILEO above with its two pseudolite systems is followed by a concept of the components of ¿automated train formation facilities¿. Finally, the validation process by means of pseudolites is illustrated by an example of train formation facilities.
