Abstract :
A microwave oven radiated signal with frequency 2450 MHz at 30 dBm (1W) as a power was generated using RF generator type CW HP83712B to simulate and analyze the microwave oven radiation signal. The spectrum of the signal was given using HP8592L analyzer. Some materials were placed between the generated and received signal as a target material. These materials absorb part of the spectrum of the signal. It was found that a target plate contains (Fe, 70.67%Cr, 20.48%- Ni, 8.85%) induced change in the amplitude of the signal from -9.6 dBm to -36.87 dBm (from 105 μW to 50 nW). This result makes it possible to use as a protection from microwave oven radiation signal. The absorbed power density of the system calculated with output power from 1 W (as a minimum range) to 70 KW (as a maximum range) and the power in dBm from -30dBm to 10dBm can be calculated in Watt from 1 μW to 1 W respectively.
