Plant biodiversity of langarud and its environs, Guilan: Iran

Vascular plant species lists were compiled for in north Iran. Overall, 322 species were recorded that ranged in area from 30000 ha. Six taxa of these were native, Chorotype spectrum of the plant species showed that most of them were pluriregional elements. Ecology and floristic composition of all habitats from the studied area were surveyed and summarized as a histogram. Moreover, detailed floristic inventory was presented. In addition, Centella asiastica and Nasturtium officinale `Buxsus hyrcana´ which had been considered as three rare species in Iran from this area.
