Abstract
In this paper, the authors use the similarity measure of interval-valued fuzzy sets to investigate approximate reasoning with interval-valued fuzzy sets, propose two mathematical models of approximate reasoning with interval-valued fuzzy set and give a numerical example to illustrate the proposed reasoning algorithm.
