  • Abstract
    In this paper, we researched the collective effect of nematic LCD using quantum theory. The Hamiltonian of system can be expressed by the quasi-creation operator and the quasi destruction operator, which are associated with two kinds of eigenstate of system. In a proper approximation, the Hamiltonian could be diagonalizable. Then the scalar order parameter S is derived, and the expression is in accordance with the result of experiment.
