Abstract
Medical images contain much pathology information. In order to denoise the images with speckle noise and fuzzy edge, a new medical image filtering method based on rough set theory is proposed on the basis of analyzing the traditional filtering methods. Through dividing the appropriate subset, the rough sets filter is realized by applying different denoise method to different subsets. Experimental results show that the proposed method can reduce the noise and improve the peak signal/ noise ratio (PSNR). It also has the advantage of calculating easy and flexibility.
