Abstract :
Due to a complex non-linear relation between current and voltage in photovoltaic battery, current-voltage and power-voltage characteristics of PV module under partially shaded conditions are characterized by multiple steps and peaks. There are multiple local maxima existing on P-V characteristic curve. Currently, the existing photovoltaic battery models are mostly based on MATLAB or PSPICE software, barely based on PROTEUS software. This paper focuses on the model of photovoltaic cells based on PROTEUS software. By simulating this model, we can get its I-V and P-V characteristic curves quickly and accurately, when PV module is under partially shaded conditions.
