Abstract :
An onboard dual-frequency antenna based on the concept of the reconfigurable is proposed. It is a planar microstrip slot antenna with coplanar waveguide feed-in network, which works at two different frequency ranges of the third generation mobile communication. The model of the antenna and the radiation patterns are present. According to the result of simulation, the antenna can indeed work at two different frequency ranges while its radiate pattern almost keeps no changes, and it is a frequency reconfigurable antenna
