Abstract :
The CNC cutting machine is the core of the CAD/CAM system and automation production line of clothing and textile industry. In this paper, propose an arc tangent interpolation algorithm for CNC cutting machine that realizes simultaneous angle control of the knife during the interpolation process and avoids complex calculation. The simulation of an arc interpolation proves that the proposed interpolation algorithm not only can satisfy motion demand of CNC cutting machine but also effectively assure interpolation accuracy.
