Abstract
An original differential-integral approach, based on the transverse wave formulation (TWF) is presented to study planar circuits in periodic network. The introduction of a novel impedance surface sub-domain in TWF offers a natural framework for the implementation of complex planar structures with simple layer. The different simulation results obtained by our electromagnetic software based on this method that we developed under object oriented environment C++ are in good agreement with literature
